Diploma in Public Relations

A career in public relations will give you the chance to promote, protect or alter the image of local and multinational companies or high profile personalities in the public domain. It’s a vital part of the communications mix and requires you to think on your feet and spin events to your client’s advantage. You could either be part of the action as it happens by working in the PR department of a large corporate, for a well-established PR agency or call the shots by starting your own PR consultancy. The Diploma in Public Relations equips graduates with a solid knowledge of integrated marketing communications, public and customer relations.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- NSC/NC(V) with B or BD – The candidate has been awarded the NSC/NCV and has met the minimum requirements for admission to a Bachelors Degree or
- NSC/NC(V) with D - The candidate has been awarded the NSC/NCV and has met the minimum requirements for admission to a Diploma or
- Senior Certificate (SC) or
- Candidates having attained the age of 23 before or during the first year of registration with three years` work experience and proven ability relating to the proposed programme as well as adequate communicative skills. or
- Candidates having attained the age of 45 before or during the first year of registration.
