A company’s information system requires vast amounts of technical equipment and hardware to support and maintain the steady flow of information however this requires a technically savvy IT technician that not only understands the components of a computer and how they function but also how computers communicate with each other and other digital devices by the means of a network. The purpose of this programme is to provide students with a sound foundational knowledge and skills necessary to set up, administer, manage and troubleshoot a network with the appropriate operating system for any particular business environment. After completion of this programme you will be able to confidently maintain and support an organisation’s network and provide insight into disaster recovery and network security which plays a key part in business stability and continuity.
